| Founded in 1977, Providence TrinityCare Hospice was a pioneer in providing hospice care to adults with life-threatening illnesses. In 2001, TrinityKids Care was established to provide specialized hospice care for infants, children, adolescents and their family, and remains the only dedicated pediatric hospice program in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
The team of nurses, social workers, chaplain, medical director, and community volunteers provide support for these children and their families during this difficult journey at all hours of the day and night. It is a true privilege to give this care so that children with life-threatening illnesses may live well...and die gently.
My Amnesty piece was inspired by Amnesty International's hand symbol to stop the violence against women. Our current campaign is to shed light on the plight of the women of Juarez, Mexico.
